Requirements for 4-Year Bachelor's Degree Programs

HEC Approved Eligibility Criteria

As per Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan guidelines for 4-Year BS Programs

Academic Requirements (HEC Guidelines)

  • Intermediate (F.A/F.Sc) or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC
  • Minimum 45% marks in intermediate examination (HEC minimum requirement)
  • Students awaiting results can apply on provisional basis
  • A-Level students with minimum 3 principal subjects and equivalent grades
  • DAE/B.Tech students for relevant engineering programs (HEC approved)
  • Equivalence certificate required for foreign qualifications
  • IBCC attestation required for O/A Level certificates
  • No age limit for admission (as per HEC guidelines)

Computer & IT Programs
BS Computer Science
  • F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or ICS with Mathematics
  • F.Sc (Pre-Medical) with Mathematics
  • Mathematics at intermediate level (mandatory)
  • Physics preferred for CS (HEC recommended)
  • Minimum 50% marks in intermediate examination
  • Minimum 50% marks in Mathematics (mandatory)
  • Medical students with Mathematics background eligible
BS Information Technology
  • F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or ICS with Mathematics
  • F.Sc (Pre-Medical) with Mathematics
  • Mathematics at intermediate level (mandatory)
  • Computer Science preferred at intermediate level
  • Minimum 50% marks in intermediate examination
  • Minimum 50% marks in Mathematics (mandatory)
  • Medical students with Mathematics background eligible
BS Cyber Security
  • F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or ICS with Mathematics
  • Mathematics and Physics at intermediate level
  • Computer Science preferred

BS Artificial Intelligence
  • F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or ICS with Mathematics

BS Chemistry
  • F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent

BS Zoology
  • F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent
  • Biology and Chemistry at intermediate level

BS Mathematics

Arts & Humanities Programs
BS English
  • F.A/F.Sc or equivalent
  • English at intermediate level (preferred)
  • Minimum 45% marks in English (if studied)
BS Urdu
  • F.A or equivalent
  • Urdu as optional/compulsory subject
  • Minimum 45% marks in Urdu (if studied)
BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts)
  • F.A/F.Sc or equivalent
  • Art background preferred
  • Portfolio assessment required
  • Minimum 45% marks in intermediate
Business & Education Programs
BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)
  • F.A/F.Sc or equivalent
  • Mathematics at matric level (preferred)
  • Economics/Commerce preferred (if studied)
  • Minimum 45% marks in intermediate
B.Ed (1.5 Years)
  • BA/B.Sc or equivalent (14 years education)
  • Minimum 45% marks in bachelor's degree
  • Teaching experience preferred
  • Valid teaching license (if available)

  • Medical fitness certificate
  • No contagious diseases
  • Physically and mentally fit for studies
Special Quotas
  • Sports quota (as per HEC guidelines)
  • Disabled quota (2% seats reserved)
  • Minority quota (5% seats reserved)
  • Provincial quota (as per government policy)

  • Mathematics: 30%
  • Physics/Chemistry/Biology: 30%
  • General Knowledge: 10%

For Arts & Social Sciences

  • English: 40%
  • General Knowledge: 30%
  • Pakistan Studies: 20%
  • Islamic Studies: 10%

For Business Programs

  • English: 35%
  • Mathematics: 25%
  • General Knowledge: 25%
  • Current Affairs: 15%

Important Guidelines

  • Test duration: 2 hours
  • Total marks: 100
  • Passing marks: 50%
  • No negative marking
  • Bring original CNIC/B-Form and roll number slip
  • Mobile phones are strictly prohibited
